Second Day – Master and Mix South American Champions are announced

Alexandre Tinoco and the local Larissa Juk are the champions in the mix fleet. Paulo Santos and João Hackerot, from São Paulo, are the champions on the Master Fleet. The second race day has a lot of rain, but when the first boats were returning to the Iate Clube de Santa Catarina Veleiros da Ilha (ICSC), the sun begins to come back.

Today (wednesday) the sailors will sail the open race for the seniors, junior and women. From 20 to 22 (Saturday), the cahmpionship will be raced in seniors, junios and women divisions. At this moment we have 42 boats registereds, including sailors from Brasil Argentina, Uruguai, Chile and Colombia. The Junior winners will have place confirmed to the 2008 World Championship.
